Holy Shit! I have met my match! I'd lost all hope in ever hearing some decent b vox around here. Steve R....I am humbled. Kudos. I really love the tone..its silky. I'm gonna ask what mike you're using..even though its purely academic cos I'm broke..but that sound is exquisite. I'll be humming the phrase This Time for the rest of the week. Thats a job well done man.

Steve, What a great track! Strange feeling of retro and modern -- great trick to pull off. Lots of work in there; nice harmonies and the overall mix is lovely and warm. Drums just right -- not too big but adding a nice round beat. You've got a good voice Steve --- nice work.

Thanks a bunch morgon, Sambo Rouge, and, of course Gaz (Cosmic)! I really appreciate the kind words and encouragement. I would love to hear from any one else who has taken the time and trouble to listen to it. Thanks again! Steve

I enjoyed this immensely. I hope to achieve acceptable b vox someday.

Good song, But I do feel like the drums could use some more stereo. stereo room feel manly and just a touch of panning with toms. with the cymbals paned a touch more than the toms. The vocals are good, but the 2-3k range is kind of in your face. some classic compression could possibly glue it together. this track could really benefit from some warm 150hz-400hz eq. to add some body. or maybe a low shelf starting at 350hz depending on how the bass drums and guitar respond. I am hearing lots of distortion from the brick wall limiting. I would back off a bit and shoot for 10-8 RMS. and attack the loudness with more compression rather than limiting.
